“Our human compassion binds us the one to the other – not in pity or patronizingly, but as human beings who have learnt how to turn our common suffering into hope for the future.” –  Nelson Mandela

100 Men Who Care – Maui is an association of men who are committed to making a positive and significant impact by supporting local nonprofits that serve our Maui County community. We provide an open environment where men are able to gather, network, build friendships and help provide financial support to organizations in need. In addition, our members learn about various nonprofit organizations, expanding their understanding and awareness of the various roles played by these organizations throughout our island.

Our meetings take place once per quarter and are held at different locations throughout Maui island.  Our meetings are short, usually 60 to 90 minutes, and there is plenty of time provided to “talk story” and get to know other like-minded men. Potential new members are asked to arrive at meetings early so that one of our senior members will be able to provide details on how the meetings operate and what kind of expectations are placed on members.

Since its initial meeting on July 7, 2015, our members have raised more than $51,000 for local non-profits. We have contributed and supported outstanding organizations such as Friends of the Children’s Justice Center, Maui Search & Rescue, Boy Scouts of America – Maui County Council, Women Helping Women, Habitat for Humanity, Hawaii Society of Professional Engineers – Maui Chapter, Hale Kau Kau, Maui Hui Malama, Mental Health America – Hawaii, Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation, Hospice Maui, and Malama Family Recovery. These recipient organizations have benefited from our collective giving efforts and, through our financial contributions, have helped more people through the amazing services they provide.

If you are interested in being part of something great, helping our community, and supporting amazing organizations, you are welcome to join us at one of our upcoming meetings!
